Do you have a physical store?
We are located at 545 Orchard Road #03-23.

We are open for walk-ins during our retail hours. However, due to our lean team, we might have to close the studio for preparations during our peak periods. 

Announcements are usually made on Instagram or on our website. Alternatively, you can always drop us a message at 88554639 if you're unsure.
 

Do you do bespoke cheongsams?
No. Our small local sewing team is unable to process bespoke orders. Our team works a high volume of online pre-orders so we are not able to accept such requests.

We open pre-orders from our local team from time to time, but our store mainly focuses on ready-made clothing.


Do you do alterations?
We are unable to assist with alterations. We suggest that taking your purchased piece to a trusted local seamstress who is able to alter it to fit you perfectly. Most of our pieces made have an allowance of 2 inches all around at the seams so that it can be easily sized up or down. 

Do note that we do not accept returns/exchanges for pieces that have been altered. 

 

What size am I?
Our sizes range from Extra Small/Small to Large/Extra Large for certain designs. It's best to refer to the size chart on each individual and read the designer's notes to understand how the piece is supposed to fit and if the cut is smaller or more generous depending on design and fabric used.

     

    What is a Pre-Order?
    Occasionally, we have fabric that we acquire in small quantities and instead of guessing what sizes we should produce, we put out the maximum number of pieces we can create with that particular fabric. This way, no fabric goes to waste but despite pre-ordering, there’s still limited pieces so you’ll have to be fast when it launches.

    We seek your understanding of the fact that each Pre-Order piece is made at your request. We regret that all Pre-Order items are non-refundable/non-exchangeable.
      

    How often do you launch new designs?

    Launches are not fixed because it really depends on how fast our production team works and often we take a lot of time with sampling to get the perfect fit. 

    What can we do to make checking out easier when we purchase something from a launch?
    It’s highly recommended that you sign up for a webstore account with us. Leaving your details and having all fields like address and contact numbers filled out will make purchasing a breeze. We accept credit cards, PayPal and local bank transfers. Also, you’re always the first to know when we have any upcoming launches.

     

    How do I care for my pieces from Lark and Peony?
    We recommend that you dry clean your cheongsams (most of all the lace pieces) although some can be cold hand-washed with very mild detergent separately from other clothing.

    All batik pieces have to be washed separately. Cool iron on the reverse side is recommended for all pieces and especially those with prints and NO MACHINE WASHING please. Even if you put it into a laundry bag on a gentle cycle, our mandarin collars are all handmade and machine washing misshapens the collar. 

    For pleated pieces, DO NOT IRON the pleats. We suggest steaming the pieces with a garment steamer (not a flat iron) on low heat for a quick fix, otherwise drip-drying is usually sufficient in smoothing the piece out.

     

    Exchanges and Returns?
    We allow for size exchanges and if we don’t have the size you require, we will gladly take the item back and process a refund in store credits, provided all our return conditions are met. See conditions here. Strictly no refunds or exchanges for sale or discounted items.
